Welcome to the Annual Yosemite National Park photo contest. It’s time for you to show off your skills! Take the best pictures of our beautiful park and impress our judges to with the title of “Photographer of the Year!”
For this board game, I was responsible for designing a majority of the graphic design and components. This includes, but is not limited to: the tiles and tokens, the cards, the rule book, and the box layout.
After living on the West Coast for a large portion of my life, it meant a lot to me to put some extra love into the design of this game. Though it was a challenge working with the stitching outlines and canvas textures to simulate badges and camping equipment, I feel that it paid off by giving structure to otherwise “open-feeling” artwork.
Yosemite was designed by Tim Blank and features beautiful scenery and wildlife illustrations by Beth Sobel.
